Anti-Bullying Week 2016

We are very happy to announce that this years anti-bullying theme is ‘Power for Good’.  Anti-Bullying week is running from the 14th – 18th November and this year’s theme aims are:

  • To support young people to understand the ways in which they are powerful  and encouraging individual and collective action to stop bullying
  • To help parents and carers to support children with issues relating to bullying and working together with schools to stop bullying.
  • To encourage all teachers and school support staff to value the difference they can make in a child’s life, and taking action to prevent bullying and create safe environments where children can thrive.

We will be touring two theatre shows delivering these messages into schools in November:

Shush

EYFS & KS1 – Goody Power – Shush the Super-ninja must defeat a baddie buffoon from outer space with the power to turn people into bullies.  Can Shush use her power for good in time to stop bullying spreading across our planet?

 

 

KS2 – Powerful – William discovers a strange looking book that has the power to change his life forever – but is being powerful all it’s cracked up to be?Book Sometimes we all have to choose.
